FR. GERRY REYNOLDS - PEACEMAKER
Hello friends - wanted to let you know that Fr. Gerry Reynolds, one of the people who made the heart of the peace process in my homeland beat, has died. He worked from Clonard Monastery, and I was glad to see him the day that I was last there in August.
He was a great man, who would not want to be called great; a heroic figure who would definitely dispute the title of heroic; one of the kindest, friendliest, and most alive humans I've ever known. As my friend Adrian Egan has said, this is Ireland's loss. I think learning about his life and witness would be gain for all of us.
Here he is talking with US students about the peace process.
